BUPNET, founded in 1985, is an adult education provider and has as its mission the promotion of innovation in education and training. BUPNET has successfully completed several training courses in various sectors both in the framework of European and national funded projects. In 2001, BUPNET developed its own multilingual eLearning and collaboration platform that has been integral part of an awarded LIFE Environment project and various other EU- and national projects. BUPNET has considerable experience in European projects on the theme of education, training and eLearning and was involved in the development and delivery of three Grundtvig training courses with an international audience.

Landkreis Kassel, Klimaanpassungsakademie, Germany

The Landkreis Kassel is one of five counties in the northern part of the federal state of Hesse. It is both responsible administrative authority and policy maker. The Landkreis Kassel (regional authority of the county) has already initiated and implemented various projects on climate change and CO2 savings. Avoidance of emissions and climate protection have been strongly pronounced during the processes of Local Agenda 21, the initiatives of the municipalities of the climate alliance and other initiatives for environmental protection. The LKK has been intensively collaborating with all regional schools on the issue of environmental protection and climate change issues.

The University of Kassel, founded in 1971, is the newest university in the state of Hesse. At present, it has about 18,000 students. The number of staff is more than 2,120, including 327 professors, approximately 900 other academic staff, and about 1,100 technical and administrative staff. A wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate study programmes is offered in the following fields of study: humanities and social sciences, economics and business, natural sciences, engineering sciences, architecture, urban planning and landscape planning, international agriculture and environmental protection and fine arts. Duca degli Abruzzi, Elmas, Cagliari, Italy

The agricultural technical and vocational secondary school “Duca degli Abruzzi” was founded in 1885. Till 1996, the school was located in the heart of Cagliari, the Sardinian capital, being for more than 100 years the reference point for all studies related to agriculture and environment. In 1996, it moved to a larger complex surrounded by 34 ha of agrarian land in the surroundings of Cagliari. Own products (wine, oil, honey, olives, vegetables etc.) are sold in the school-owned shop. The institute has about 400 students, who can take different graduations: agrarian technician, professional for agriculture and environment.
Duca degli Abruzzi was actively involved in the JEM! project and introduced an environmental management system based on EMAS.

Kossuth Zsuzsanna Vocational Technical Secondary School

Kossuth Zsuzsanna Vocational Technical Secondary School was founded in 1990. The school is administered by the Local Government of Dabas. Nevertheless, the school is autonomous as far as decisions regarding the organisation, functioning and budget are concerned.
The number of students is almost 1000 and altogether 67 people as teaching staff. As for the teaching fields, the school covers the following ones: vocational education and remedial vocational training.
The school has a special team of seven people who develop 3D/4D projects. They create interactive learning objects for education and demonstration purposes.

Värmdö Gymnasium (VGY) is a public general secondary school. Its aims are:  education for the future, student empowerment, internationalisation, exciting education and personal development.
